For me, people are always at the heart of photography.
I’m interested in more than creating a beautiful image: I want to capture character, emotion and a genuine sense of who someone is.
The strongest photographs happen when everything comes together: light, composition, emotion and that fleeting, decisive moment.
Over the years, my work has received recognition in a number of international photography competitions. One of the highlights was winning the National Geographic Traveller UK photography competition in the Urban Environment category, with the winning image later published in the magazine.
